He sat so well for his pictures this month, which was good, because I perched him on top of his dresser. Kyle was on-hand to help and didn't have to catch him once. Yay!

Everett: 9 Months
Everett turns nine months old today. He is walking more and more with each day. He still crawls when he needs to be quick – mostly when he sees something he wants – desk drawers that need opening, closet doors that need closing, remotes on the coffee table, the open dishwasher, dog bowls, etc. He is just starting to learn to wave and he gives high fives, but usually only to me. Everett is starting to use his voice more, yelling for "Mama" or "Mom" or sometimes an "Ah" sound directed at Addison, Kyle or Gryffin. He's definitely figuring out how to get the attention he wants. Oh, and I'm happy to report that he's still sleeping well, which is nice. His favorite thing is his crib blanket (the pretty blue polka dot one shown here). If it's around, he has to nuzzle it. Everyday before a nap or bedtime we spend a little time cuddling. It's my favorite part of any day.
