That pretty little face I love to take pictures of has been carrying around a red rash for the last month. Sometimes it looks like it's getting better and then comes back just as bad. Last month we met with her pediatrician. Today we met with a dermatologist. They're both a bit mystified at what's going on, but both have discussed her rash as a possible symptom of Lupus. As scary as it sounds, each doctor agrees Lupus is unlikely given her age and lack of other symptoms. Right now, the front runner in the diagnosis game is a sensitivity to sun (or a polymorphous light eruption). So for the next little while we'll be trying out some new ointments and staying out of the enticing summer sun. Wish us luck.

Poor thing! Hope she's okay! Sending well wishes your family's way...
Those little red cheeks make my face hurt... ouch!! We will keep her in our prayers, and keep us imformed. :)
Could it be Fifth's Disease? Lily got it, and it takes up to 8 weeks to fully clear and is made worse by the sun. I am sure they already thought of that though...
