29

I turned 29 yesterday. My coworkers helped me celebrate at work with orange cream (my fav!) ice cream. Next week the celebration will continue with a long weekend in Phoenix with Kelinda. Speaking of, Kelinda is the awesome person behind the chocolate-covered strawberries shown above. Yum!

Here's what's new with me lately...
• With the big 3-0 closer than ever, I'm happy to say I've yet to see any gray hair. Kyle's got a few – they make me smile.
• Also, while on the topic of hair, I'm back to growing my hair out. I always hate the long awkward period between short and long hair. Happily, I've finally come out of that phase.
• I'm still not doing well with the nail biting. I manage a few weeks of success here and there, but no major breakthroughs. Bummer.
• Swimsuit season is approaching. I should be running with the dog more. End of story.
• I've been thinking I need to consider working yoga into my daily routine. My back troubles have been many lately. Kyle's new favorite workout is hot yoga. He loves it a lot.
• My go-to perfume ran out recently. I may go back to it, but in the meantime Kyle got me an awesome fragrance sampler for my birthday. I've tried five so far and have been happy with all except one – Juicy Couture gets a big thumbs down. Once I decide which is my favorite I can return for a full-size bottle.
• I am in love with Pinterest. I'm always finding (and then later trying to re-find) inspiration on the internet. Pinterest keeps track of all these images with links back to where I found them. It's super helpful.
