Kyle heard about something called
Llama Fest about a week ago. He knows me well and knew I would want to go. He was right, I was totally on board with the idea. We did our best to make the trip a success (aka started this adventure after nap time) but it didn't go so well. As a one-day event there wasn't a lot of choice as to when we went. Saturday was it, and Saturday was HOT. Like 104 degrees hot. Top that off with a grumpy Addison (despite the nap) and it was not very fun. She was mildly amused by the llamas, but that was the end of the highlights.

Llama racing was equal parts amusing and dysfunctional.
So hot.
So, so, so hot.
Llamas and elephants. That's what you get when Llama Fest is held at an Indian temple.

Grumpy gus wouldn't even let us pick her up for a good family picture.
We called it a day right after this.
