November Update

We were incredibly busy over the month of October. Now that things have slowed down a bit, I thought I'd do an update on Addison and Everett (something I haven't done since February).

Addison just finished another soccer season. She really improved this year and showed real interest in both forward and goalie positions. She's excited to try gymnastics this winter. Addison is up to reading chapter books these days. Currently it's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The Food Network is becoming one of her favorite tv channels. She loves Cupcake Wars, Chopped Jr. and the Rachael Ray's Kids Cook-Off.

Everett is a wiggly two and a half year-old. He can rarely sit through a meal without getting up or standing on his seat. He loves to run. He loves to climb. He's still in love with Thomas the Train, but is starting to branch out into new cartoons and interests – Olaf, Oso, Sofia the First and Daniel Tiger to name a few. He likes asking questions, voicing his opinion and saying funny things, like "my am" and "I is." He's a fan of singing the ABC's (all the way through on his own), Old MacDonald, the Wheels on the Bus, Twinkle Twinkle, etc. He's also working on his writing skills at preschool and is getting close to writing all of the letters in his name. E is his favorite.
