Summer Recap: June

It's been four months since I've posted anything here. And, to be fair, it included a month of solo parenting, packing our house and moving. Our summer was filled with potty training, a summer vacation, helping Addison adjust to the move and time spent catching up with friends and family. Posting things here definitely fell off the radar for a good while. I have had thoughts of not blogging in a long term sense, but for now, I've decided that I a summer photo recap is in order.

Every five years my father's family gathers for a big family reunion. Five years between reunions leaves lots of room for change. For example, we took an almost two-year-old Addison to the last reunion – see here. So, we went into the South Carolina trip with lots of excitement and a new family member to introduce to everyone. Everett went to the beach for the first time (and hated the sand!), we all swam our hearts out, enjoyed beach house life and caught up with a group of family that now totals more than 60.
