As happy as we are about the change, we're also sad to be leaving our Utah friends. Our friends in Utah have an extra special place in my heart, because at times, many of them filled in for family. Inviting us to Thanksgiving dinner, visiting us at the hospital when Addison was born, taking care of our kids in emergencies – they've been an unforgettable support system.

Home
We moved away from all of our friends and family in Colorado nearly 8 years ago. Back then it was just Kyle and I. Our time in Utah has brought us a lot of firsts – our first home, our first dog and two super cute kids. As much as we never really knew where we'd end up "after Utah," we always knew that it wasn't a place we'd stay forever.
We're thrilled to be finally making the move we've hoped for all along – we're returning to Denver. For those of you wondering about the timing of it all, the move is already in motion. Preparations, house projects, cleaning, and even some packing have already begun. Tomorrow Kyle starts a new job in Colorado. Things will stay the same with my job, just as I'd hoped. I'll go from working remotely, to working remotely from a state away. In a few short weeks we'll be packing the house up and leaving SLC.

That's awesome that you still get to work all the way from Colorado! Congrats on the big move!
