Everett: 11 Months

I'm late posting Everett's monthly update this month due to our trip, but better late than never. Another month brought another tooth, which brings us to a grand total of 8 – 4 top, 4 bottom. He's still very tall (hello, too short 12-18 month pants) and heavier than his sister was (at the same age) by several pounds. Everett is getting better at simple communications even though he's reluctant to use signs. The only sign he uses on occasion is "more." He's very big on shaking his head no when he doesn't want something and he is starting to yell when he does. Yesterday it was his sister's yogurt. He's also discovered drinking from a cup or water bottle and likes it very much. Most of the time he's more interested in following others than playing on his own. He follows me all the time, except when he's stealing silverware from the dishwasher and running away with it.
