Currently

Wanting – pretty much everything in the new CB2 catalog. Making the house prettier is front of mind lately since I'm at home about 99% of the time.

Frustrated – by my first parking ticket. I paid for the wrong spot. Looking back, it was probably the plowed snow pile obscuring the spot in front of me that caused the issue. Now I have to go talk to a "Hearing Officer" at the downtown office if I want to fight it. Bummer.

Chasing – Everett all day long. He's gone from pulling up on everything in sight, to trying to pull up, stand and balance (no hands!).

Wishing – it were warmer. Then the battle between being warm and wearing socks wouldn't exist. I hate socks.

Researching – trips and passport stuff. All four of us need a passport for an upcoming trip this year. My old passport went to Australia, Mexico and Canada. Then it collected dust for about six years, so it's time.

Pondering – resolutions and goals for the new year. I had a list and it felt lame the second I finished it. Since it's now the second week in January, I feel like I may have missed the boat a touch. Regardless, I'm feeling excited for 2014 and whatever it brings us.

Delighted – Addison started reading over winter break! Thanks to Nana Liz and some Bob books – she's doing so, so well. She's taken to school better than I expected and is astounding me daily with her progress.
