We packed ourselves into the car for a mountain drive this weekend. Given the time of year, I thought it'd be a good time to see some fall colors. The fall colors were indeed out, but the
lake we selected as our destination was actually about 10,000 feet in elevation. In my head, I figured there might be a touch of snow up there. Turns out, there was a good amount. The snow didn't stop us from walking all the way around the lake though. Addison wore some sneaker sandals which earned her some good piggy back rides from Kyle and our friend Megan. Everett put up with the adventure for a while, but eventually got upset. Despite all of that, I came away feeling like we should do more of these outings.

Wow! Now I totally see Kyle in Everett! He looked very much like Jen (and acted like her too) when they were here. Calm, cool, collected-just a great humor to see in an infant, let me tell you. The 5 month photos of the young lad though do reveal a bit of his Daddy. Let's see how much of HIS humor develops, eh?
