Current Highlights

Whew – June has gone by in a blink. I shouldn't be surprised though, because June is always one of the busiest times for us. It's packed with birthdays, Father's Day and our anniversary.

Celebrating – Kyle and I celebrated our seventh wedding anniversary on Tuesday. We actually managed to have a quick dinner away without kids, which was nice. Thanks to Nana Liz for making that possible. 

Loving – Everett's increased awareness. He still loves his share of staring at lights and windows and interesting things on the ceiling (?), like new babies do, but I can tell he's starting to actually pay attention to us all. I can't wait for the cute baby smiles that are on the horizon.

Watching – We've finally managed to start watching Breaking Bad. It's been a long time coming (hello, five seasons to catch up on) and one we've been meaning to watch for what seems like forever. Also, I might have a bit of a crush on Aaron Paul, which is awkward since he plays a drug dealer on the show. Ha.
  
Travel – Addison is away on a California adventure. The lucky girl gets to go see lots of family, San Diego, the beach and Shamu with her Nana. I'm pretty jealous.

Getting Older – The annual double birthday (Mom and Kyle) is nearly here. Kyle will be joining the 31 club with me. I've been testing the waters for him, like usual, for the last few weeks. So far, so good.

At Home – Gryffin, Everett and I are living it up in the AC. There's nothing but 100 degree days in the current forecast. That means I'll be discovering more daytime tv – Polygamy USA, The Bronson Pinchot Project, Alaska State Troopers – all so strange and amusing.
