December Rewind

Well, it looks like I successfully made it another month without a blog post. High-five to me. December always feels like it goes by in a blink and this year was no different. Here's a little recap.

1. Addison was super excited about all things Christmas this year. Our tree, the neighborhood trees and any other twinkling light, nativity scene, etc. – she pointed out every single one. For all of December.
2. She also took her first successful (read: happy) photo with Santa when he visited her school. Photo day with Santa also coincided with pajama day – good times.
3. I managed to get a few Christmas cards out this year, it almost didn't happen.
4. Kyle and I enjoyed our company Christmas parties. Two holiday parties meant two nights out with babysitters back at home with Addison. We don't do that enough.
5. Work was crazy for me over the last few weeks. Next year I vow to not be the only one who doesn't take off any extra days over the holiday. Silly me.
6. Kyle's family joined us in SLC for Christmas this year. Lance cooked almost every meal and made a huge mess of my kitchen. I didn't really mind since I was being fed – pregnant ladies like food.
7. Santa brought Addison lots of fun gifts and we were able to open presents on video chat with my family in Colorado.
8. We're just now recovering from the snow we got all week. Christmas was white, but so was every other day until today.
