Between 3 and 4

Today Miss A is three and a half years old. Most days it feels like she's so much older than that. Here's a run-down of all things big in her life right now.

Her favorite hobbies: watching Scooby Doo reruns, painting, checking in on Kyle's Zombie app, picking out books at the library, and zooming around the block on her scooter to see if any of the neighborhood dogs are out.

Her latest skills: somersaults, making monkey noises, counting to nearly 30, picking out her own clothes and getting dressed, writing the letters in her name (correctly most of the time), giving treats to Gryffin after he sits and shakes (on her command), making calls on my phone (she can call Kyle, put him on speaker phone, chat, hang up and go back to Netflix watching all without my help), she also learning how to use the tv remote (powering on and off, pause, play and fast forward).

Her favorite colors: everything in her world is still very pink, but she always states that her favorites are pink, red and purple. I asked her to pick her favorite of those three the other day and she couldn't. She also saves orange things for me, because she knows they're my favorite.

Her favorite meal: cheese quesadilla, black beans, rice and a cinnamon + sugar tortilla from Costa Vida. It's the only place she requests to eat, but Thai food might be a close second.

Her favorite food/drink: macaroni and cheese, chocolate milk, yogurt, soy beans and mashed potatoes. She'd consume any of these every day and with excitement.

Her favorite tunes: Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Lady Antebellum, Kelly Clarkson and Katy Perry.

Her least favorite things: car rides without an iPhone, waiting her turn to speak, sleeping with no less than a dozen stuffed animals and 3 books in her bed.

Her favorite sayings:
Is it a school day?
Can I play with the iPad?
You're hilarious.
That's a bad word, we don't say ____ (stupid, hate, dumb, etc).
Can we go to the park?
You're my best friend // You're not my best friend anymore – depends on her mood.
That's not fair.

Loving these sweet, sunshiney faces.
