Big Time

Kyle and I left Addison for the first time ever this last weekend. We separated ourselves from the kiddo so we could visit Mesa, AZ for a communication conference that Kyle got into. We got to see some old family friends for dinner and spent nearly a whole day hanging out with Russ (who we had not seen in several years). Nana Liz visited Salt Lake City and took care of Addison and Gryffin while we were away. She claims the only tricky part was watching Gryffin, which I have no problem believing. We returned late Sunday to a baby who had learned how to sit up on her own (for the most part). And on top of that, the sign language we've been teaching Addison since Christmas has kicked in. Addison has signed "hello" to us several times since we've been back. At this rate, she'll be walking next week.
