Long Week

Since my last post I've returned to work. Going back meant transitioning Addison to life without me, which made me nervous. But... thanks to Nana Liz setting up camp with us it has been smooth sailing. We owe her big time!

Addison turned two months old on Monday and had her check-up this week as well. She's nearly 12 pounds and is doing great. Lately she's been testing her vocal skills more and more, which is pretty amusing.

Things are going to get busy around here with Christmas shopping to do, a visit from Dad, Dana and some American Crafts Christmas parties all on the horizon. Kyle and I have managed to get Christmas lights up on the house (later perfected/rearranged by Glen - thank you), but we haven't tackled the Christmas tree for one reason - our D.O.G. I'm pretty sure Gryffin will attempt to eat some part of the tree, ornaments or lights, which is why I'm procrastinating. We'll see what happens.

Last, this week was particularly difficult because my favorite grumpy old man passed away. Luckily Kyle and I got a chance to spend time with Grandpa Sam on our trip to Florida in May. Addison didn't get to meet her Great-Grandpa face to face, but got awfully close as you can see below. Hugs and love to Mom, Grandma, Kathy, Cindy and Sam.
