Baby Update

Today was the first of what will be weekly doctors visits until I am pregnant no longer. While it should be totally exciting to be this far into the process, pregnancy is starting to wear on me. Here's some of the latest and greatest...

Dr. Appointment Today...
At 36 weeks baby is comfy, cozy and showing no signs of impending labor

Favorite Thing So Far...
Kyle talking to my belly and watching the resulting kicks and movement - both for the belly movements and the ridiculous things he says to the baby.

Worst Part So Far...
Being uncomfortable almost around the clock now

Latest Cravings...
Peanut Butter and Cereal, but not together

To Do List Items Left...
Finish packing hospital bag, hang wall art in baby's room, check our installation of the car seat with a professional, make Gryffin listen to sounds of infants crying, have Gryffin perfectly trained before baby comes home (probably not realistic). Happily it's not that long of a list.

Ready or Not?
Kyle and I both vote for ready. Bring on the kiddo, sleeplessness and new experiences.

Looking Forward To...
Being free of all this extra baggage around the middle - sleeping on my stomach, wearing almost normal clothes again and being able to keep up with Gryffin. He must hate walks with the pregnant lady.

Next Week...
As discussed in our baby class, 37 weeks is full term and the first time they want you trying things to "evict" the baby, or at least get the process going. So, I'll be filling my evenings with spicy food, long walks and excessive house cleaning starting next week.

And, because Kyle's off at class tonight, here's the best picture I could manage on my own.
