The house is officially ours and we kicked off the weekend with a grand scale effort of painting. The paint put up a fair battle. With all the perfect colors selected I was a little shocked when two (out of five) turned out to be WAY more electric than expected and we ended up not using one of the colors at all. After three days and double as many trips to home depot we're in the home stretch with a few lessons under our belt. *Insert a special thanks here to Glen, (Kyle's Dad) for coming out to SLC to help with all the work - it would have taken double, possibly triple the time without his help.
A note to you all - Behr paint in Japanese Fern is neon green and Maple Leaf is more like Broncos Orange. You've been warned.
Now, all I need are some muscles and extra sleep before all of the heavy lifting that will start later this week. Pictures and updates to come. I'm currently sitting on the floor of an empty master bedroom just happy to have the internet.
