Freelance Headache

I've just finished the freelance project from hell. I accepted this job to help out a friend. The task turned out to be more than I signed up for. Initially I was asked to convert a handrawn rasterized (pixel based) image into a vector (shape based) file. Normally an easy task, so I agreed image unseen. Below was the image I was sent.

After picking my jaw off the floor, I set out to simplify the warrior so that it could be screenprinted at a small size. There's my rant. Lesson learned? No matter the friend, do not accept any project without imagining the worst case senario.
